Our government wants to be the healthcare superpower.

1. IT wants to pay for it with taxes they collect.
2. IT wants to compete with private insurers.
3. IT wants to establish all the regulations.

Chicken or Egg?

It doesn't take a scientist to know that being fat or overweight is not healthy. That is not in any way saying that trim people are automatically healthy.

But what came first the fat and overweight or the stupid.
We are generally dumb people. We have to be told that ATVs are dangerous, that we can't dry our hair in the bathtub and if we mix drugs there could be an adverse event.

So, will it really help to tax fat or fat people? I say we tax dumb people, then they may not spend so much money on bigmacs.

Bathroom Breaks?

For most, a bathroom break is a opportunity to relieve themselves. For the parent of two 3 year old girls, a bathroom break is when you don't have to take either to the bathroom for at least an hour.

I would like an answer.

Sen. Coburn made a statement I don't think I have heard before.

"I don't want to tie you down on any future decisions, but how'd we get there when we can read this book, and it says certain things, and those aren't guaranteed, but the things that it doesn't say are?"

How can we legally kill a baby, not in the constitution and still have to fight for our right to have a gun, in the constitution?

REAL government Intervention

My health insurance is my business. I want to pay, to choose, and to have control.
Same with everyother aspect of my life.
But if Obama really wants to do some good for Americans, he could regulate the cell phone charger industry. What a racket. All cell phones should be able to be charged by the same cord. At my house I have a cell phone, my wife has two. That means that between two people, we have six chargers. SIX. Think of all that metal and rubber wasted. Think of all the CO2 and other polutants released in the production of the chargers for my house alone.
Every person in america (since these are made overseas) will agree with this. Let's get this done before healthcare and before your third stimulus.
